WHAT DOES THE LABOUCHERE PROCESS DO IN PRACTICE?
It is important to determine your goal and the amount you plan to win using the Labouchere System. Be sure to keep your bankroll in check when setting your goal.
Step 2 is to split your final winning sum into smaller amounts. You can decide how to split it up, but most people divide it between 7-10.
Let's say, for instance, that you have a goal of PS200. You would then divide the sum into many bets and place them in a list. This would look something like this.

Once you have determined how much you will win, you can then split the money into bets and put it in the game. You should not play against odds that are less than even (1/1 – fractional or 2.0 in decimal).
After that, you should check your list of possible bets. Labouchere System states that the Labouchere System's first bet would include the sum of the first and last numbers on your list. PS15 + PS10 = PS25. You would win the first bet if you won. Then you would take sum 1 & sum 9 from your list/sequence and move on to next.
The next bet would follow the same procedure. Take sum 2 and 8 from your list (the remaining sums), and combine them to make your bet. This would be PS20 + PS15 = PS35.
Continue this process until you have crossed all of the sums on the list. Then, stop and end the sequence.
The Labouchere system doesn't take your bankroll into account like other betting strategies, such as the Kelly Criterion. There will be a time when you lose your streak of betting.
