Is PokerStars Rigged? Here Are the Facts [2022]

Is PokerStars a sham? Here are the facts ([2022]

Many people still ask me if PokerStars has been rigged. Or is online poker rigged?

Because I believe this only legitimizes what I consider a ridiculous question.

Here is the quick solution.

PokerStars does not have a rigged system. Due to the amazing speed of online gambling, it may appear that way at times. You can expect three times more bad beats on online poker sites such PokerStars than in a live game. Zoom Poker, which can deal hands 10 times faster than live poker games, is even more obvious.

Is PokerStars Legit? Is it a scam?

Trust me, it's true. Some people are still skeptical that PokerStars is real and not rigged.

And I know the emails and comments that I get about online poker being rigged are endless.

Even worse, I recorded a video last Wednesday to address this issue.

Anyways, I hope this article will end the Great Debate!

Is online poker rigged or not? Russian bots may be invading online poker. Are there mysterious ninjas that are hired to create another rigged River Card just for us right before the final Table?

Honesty is my best policy. This blog post is too short to answer all these life-altering questions.

But common sense and some common sense can tell us that there is a lot of nefarious behavior when money is at stake.

Humans manipulate the stock exchange, they rig elections. They lie on resumes. They cheat on high school exams. Some of them even cheat on the man they gave their wedding vows!

So, in summary, it is true that there are some poker sites and individuals who try to rig the online poker system in their favor. It would be foolish not to see this.

But is PokerStars really legit? Is there widespread fraud at PokerStars and in other industries?

It is unlikely. Here are five reasons why.

1. PokerStars can be a money making machine

PokerStars's first and most obvious reason for not being rigged is that they are a great money-making machine.

This blog has repeatedly stated that the house is always the biggest winner in poker. PokerStars is a new way to do this.

They make $500 million in pure profit every year, it is believed. It is hard to know what they earned in pure profit five-ten years ago, when poker was truly booming.

In my own experience, I have made a lot of money playing PokerStars over the years using a simple strategy that is very effective against weak recreational players at low levels.

In fact, I just posted a new video highlighting the most common mistakes made by beginner poker players in these games.

Keep checking my YouTube channel for poker videos so you never miss new strategies.

However, common sense should be asked:

PokerStars could not possibly do this. You wouldn't do anything that could put your massive cash cow of $500 million dollars at risk.

You are already making ridiculous amounts of money and a king in your industry, what incentive is there to try to rig something else?

PokerStars has been one of the most popular and profitable poker sites in the history of the industry. Over a decade, no one has been able match their dominance.

No matter what your opinions are about their new ownership, they continue crushing it from a business perspective.

This is why there is no plausible explanation.

They actually have every reason not to rig it. Instead, they just keep winning.

2. You can simply go and check it out for yourself

It is important to note that PokerStars isn't rigged. It's easy to check it yourself.

PokerStars is one the few poker sites that are openly transparent about what they do. They will actually send you every hand history from any of their sites.

Because I've done it myself, I know the truth. I asked for close to 8,000,000 hands of PokerStars that I had played. Within 24 hours, I had all the links for downloading them.

I can then use PokerTracker to track the 8 million hand and perform extensive statistical analysis and testing looking for statistical anomalies.

This is the main reason why I do not like recent online poker trends towards anonymized poker sites and/or those that don't provide hand histories.

PokerStars is an "open source" site that allows us to police the games.

PokerStars and other legitimate online poker sites will not conceal anything. All hand histories can be viewed online.
